The morning begins with tea or coffee from 10.15am before an optional educational seminar at 10.30am. The seminar is usually presented by one of our members. It’s an excellent opportunity for our members to spotlight their expertise.
Then, we have open networking before a sit-down lunch. If you only want to come to this section of the event, please arrive at 11.45am. The open networking session is informal and about getting to know the people behind the businesses.
We then sit down for a round-the-table networking over lunch. A table host looks after each table and invites people to spend a few minutes talking about what makes their business unique and their aims. It is friendly and chatty. So don’t worry about preparing a pitch.
The event costs £43, which covers the two-course lunch, seminar, drinks, and coffee or tea. We finish at 2pm. In the room, we have members who come each month, and there are a good number of newbies. Guests can come twice before being asked if they’d like to commit to membership.
There is no hard selling at our events. It’s about being part of a supportive community, with people who help solve problems together and refer their wider network to member’s businesses.
A huge thank you to our Key Partners for their support in making Humber Business Week possible.
